After recompiling on the newest version of FreeTDS (8.3) it seems my
command line php user can access the database, and the webserver user
cannot:
<?php
var_dump(mssql_connect('BLKDB04.weblinkconnect.com:1433','WLafINhaanmcRO','---snip---'));
var_dump(mssql_select_db('WLafayetteINCOC'));
?>
Returns the following baffling results:
command line: php -f ~/data/testmssql.php
-> resource(4) of type (mssql link)
-> bool(true)
http://n2.greaterlafayettecommerce.com/testmssql.php
-> bool(false)
-> bool(false)
Upon further investigation, on the good connection, FreeTDS is
recieving all of the correct credentials. On the webserver side, it is
searching for "SYBASE" -- which means it's defaulting, I think.
Ideas?
