- Date: Tue, 04 Mar 2008 13:02:07 -0800
Using 0.64 or 0.82RC1, I cannot successfully make a connection to a SQL2005 server when that server has 'Force Encryption' turned on. Am I doing something wrong, or is this an unsupported function? (FWIW, I _can_ make a connection to a SQL2000 server that server has 'Force Encryption' turned on. )
Here is what the log shows when I make the attempt:
locale is "en_US.iso885915"
locale charset is "ISO-8859-15"
Msg 20017, Level 9, State -1, Server OpenClient, Line -1
Unexpected EOF from the server
Msg 20002, Level 9, State -1, Server OpenClient, Line -1
Adaptive Server connection failed
There was a problem connecting to the server
