Some late night musing....

Part of organizing a release is reviewing the documents, and sometimes
that can be a little like looking at old snapshots. My, how our garden
doth grow.

I just updated the freebcp manpage. The caveats on the old page had long
since been addressed, and the utility grew support, since 0.62, I guess,
for maybe 8 options, including database hints, queryout, and support for
text columns.

Someone intensely interested in freebcp could of course subscribe here or
check in on the sources once in a while, but most people would watch the
man page and the release notes for new features. The features were there,
sure enough, but without documentation they might as well not have been.
And now they're there, for all the world to see and use.

There's still more -- isn't there always? -- I'd like to do with freebcp:
an option to set the encoding, support for pipes, csv files, better error
handling when the data go bad. The abilty to use stdin would be
especially useful to people who'd like to hook it up to XML data via an
XPath query. But when the manpage grows by 50% (or so it seems) we can
see that, bit by bit, it's getting there.
