Hi,

I have a problem when I install freeTDS by ports (0.63) or to compile (try
with 0.60). When I want to connect to my MS SQL Server, freeTDS try to
connect to port 4000.

actarus# /usr/local/bin/tsql -S myserser -U user
Password:
src/tds/login.c: tds_connect: myserserIP:4000: Operation timed out
Msg 20009, Level 9, State 0, Server OpenClient, Line 0
Server is unavailable or does not exist.
There was a problem connecting to the server

Therefore, : telnet myserver 1433 is OK

I change /usr/local/etc/freetds.conf and put correctly MSSQL and port 1433.

Thanks for your answers.

Best regards
Vincent
