Hi there,

I'm using FreeTDS 0.62 and Fedora Core 2, trying to connect to MS SQL
Server 8.0 in Windows 2000. The installation of FreeTDS was OK, but
when I try to connect to the server using tsql, the following message
is returned:

------------------------------
locale is "pt_BR"
locale charset is "ISO-8859-1"
Password:
Msg 20004, Level 9, State 0, Server OpenClient, Line 0
Read from SQL server failed.
Msg 20014, Level 9, State 0, Server OpenClient, Line 0
Login incorrect.
There was a problem connecting to the server
------------------------------

The same message is returned if I use "-S server_name" or "-H
host_name -p port".

But if I try to connect using Telnet, or Terminal Server of Fedora,
everything is OK. The user exists in the server, and the same error
occurs if I try server login or domain login. I even created a server
user with the same ID and password than the domain user (I mean, I had
the user "DOMAIN/Administrator" and created the user in SQL Server
"Administrator"). The same error occurs.

I wil paste my log, hoping that someone can help me.

------------------------------

Looks like the error starts at the 'errno=104, "Connection reset by
peer"', but I have no idea why this happens. Thanks for your help. :)
