Others may correct me, but I think we (on freetds) recommend the jTDS
project for a JDBC driver.

like freeTDS, this is an open source project. It was based on our work, but
is more actively maintained.


Alternatively, you can download a JDBC driver for SQL server 2000 from
Microsoft themselves.
Whether this will work with 6.5 is unknown.
