- Subject: [freetds] Different Data?
- Date: Tue, 14 Oct 2003 11:13:45 -0400
I've installed freetds on Unix (Solaris 2.8), and then installed the
DBD::Sybase module in perl to get everything working together.
However, when I use either tsql or perl to retrieve a count of rows, I get
different results from the pass-thru queries in access against the sqlserver
DB.
The version of SqlServer is:
Microsoft SQL Server 2000 - 8.00.194 (Intel X86)
Aug 6 2000 00:57:48
Copyright (c) 1988-2000 Microsoft Corporation
Developer Edition on Windows NT 5.1 (Build 2600: Service Pack 1)
The version of freetds is 0.61
The version of DBD::Sybase is 1.01
The count from tsql is 2486 as an example, while the count from sqlserver
for the same table is 5385.
Has anyone run into this?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
