I have the following msg_handler:
int msg_handler(DBPROCESS *dbproc, DBINT msgno, int msgstate,
int severity, char *msgtext, char *srvname,
char *procname, int line)
{
fprintf(stderr, "DB Warning: %s\n\t#%d, severity %d\n", msgtext, msgno,
severity);
return 0;
}
Under the standard sybase dblib I get:
DB Warning: Changed database context to 'ged'.
#5701, severity 0
DB Warning: Changed language setting to 'us_english'.
#5703, severity 0
With freetds I get:
DB Warning: Changed database context to 'ged'.
#5701, severity 10
Just thought you might like to know, 10 seems pretty severe for a
db switch. I'm using .61 on solaris 5.8 intel.
Thanks,
Steve
