Frediano,

I think we're duplicating some work here. Nick is ready to commit Bill's
entire patch. All he needs to do now is "cvs commit", but he doesn't want
to overwrite anything you do.

Would it be OK if Nick commits what he's got, and you made adjustments from
there? I think that would be fairly easy, unless your local tree is
seriously desynchronized.

The sooner Nick commits, the sooner we can move on.
