Thank you for working on this.

Since we've got two confirmations of rc3 as posted, I think we're OK.

I downloaded your file and rc3, and did "diff -ru" across the two trees.
There are a lot of differences! Neither is completely right, IMO.

Yours excludes src/dblib/dbopen.c.

Mine includes too many generated files: Makefile, CVS, .cvsignore. That's
because the script that Brian sent me, which I used to create rc3, had
--exclude at the end, where my "tar" (I guess ignored it).

Other than that, there are many differences in every Makefile.in. Clearly
there's more about this that I don't understand than do.
