Try "rcs2log -c ChangeLog" with "today"'s changes not yet in ChangeLog.
(Keep a private copy from yesterday.) rcs2log is in contrib/ of the CVS
distribution. I'm not sure how sensitive rcs2log is to the ChangeLog
format.
