Hi,
does anyone know the thinking behind reverting this to a constant value ?
I think I'd made this (kind of) dynamic, so that I could give it different
values depending on whether I was talking TDS 5.0 (Sybase) or 7.0+ (MS),
as the two databases sent numeric data differently (using different
numbers of bytes to store different precisions)...
