Brian,

Good! It's in my uncommitted UG now.

I'd like to add it to the freetds.conf skeleton, and set it to a
reasonable value. How does one megabyte sound? Any reason we can't use
hex notation?

text size = 0x100000

No, eh? OK, howzabout:

text size = 32768 # 32 KB

I want to pick a value that won't segfault and won't normally truncate the
client's data.
