Sure. OpenLink is a British company, so you'll find them at
http://www.openlink.co.uk/ . They also have a .COM domain,
but you are unlikely to find it without searching the web:
http://www.openlinksw.com/

The download form for their multi tier suite is at
http://oplweb.openlinksw.com/product/webmatrix.asp

You should select Linux/Intel as the server operating system, as this
is the only OS for which the FreeTDS agent is supported.

You can also directly FTP the FreeTDS database agents at
ftp://www.openlink.co.uk/open41/l3adtzzz.taz
ftp://www.openlink.co.uk/open41/l3amtzzz.taz
The latter file contains a threaded version of the database
agent.

To get the software working, you will need to download the
broker and client software too. Licensing is based on a
maximum number of clients and connections, counted by the
broker. An unlicensed broker accepts up to two clients and
10 connections. Otherwise, there is no restriction. There is
no expiry date.

We are using this software to access Progress databases on AIX.
IMHO, this software is much better than Progress' own ODBC
solution.

OpenLink's philosofy is using one small client driver, to connect
to all sorts of databases running on all sorts of platforms.
The client is available both for Windows and for UNIX, the latter
using unixODBC or iODBC, OpenLink's own open-source ODBC driver
manager.

I have no affiliation with OpenLink, other than being a satisfied
customer.

I should also add I have not tried the FreeTDS database agent, so
I can't tell how well it works.

Pim
