Anybody know how to fetch data from MS-SQL with FLOAT and INT data type ?

I use this one but always wrong

const void *tdsvalue;

///.......... another code

case SYBFLTN :
char *dest = (char *)malloc(256);
sprintf(dest,"%f",*(TDS_REAL *)tdsvalue);
printf("==> %s\n",dest);
break;

it's ok for CHAR,VARCHAR data type in Microsoft SQL Server
