You need a entry in the odbc.ini file (under the pivotal section)
[pivotal]
...
Servername = <yourservername>
...
Where <yourservername> is the server alias listed in your freetds.conf
file. I would highly recommend grabbing sqsh (www.sqsh.org) and building
it to make sure your freetds install and freetds.conf file are correct.
This was discussed about a week ago on the list and a change was checked
in then to say 'Servername' instead of 'Database'. i.e. There's an error
in the error message. :-/
Cheers,
Brian
P.S. Is it just me, or has there been a whole rash of ODBC questions
lately?
