- Subject: Bug: dblib.c DBROWS on Solaris
- Date: Wed, 21 Nov 2001 12:22:03 -0500
Hi,
I've discovered an elusive problem in dblib on Solaris.
DBROWS function (apparently not many people use it) causes a core
on Solaris when called and no rows are present. On all other platforms
we've run it it doesn't crash - we ran it on BSD's and SCO Open Server.
The patch that we use to fix the issue is as follows:
Index: dblib.c
===================================================================
RCS file: /cvsroot/freetds/freetds/src/dblib/dblib.c,v
retrieving revision 1.5
diff -r1.5 dblib.c
1363a1364
> if (!resinfo) return FALSE;
I haven't digged deeper into the core to find the ultimate source, but
it has to be something Solaris specific.
