How about a cron job that polls the db containing connection info and
creates a interfaces
file containing all possible servers? Still requires an interfaces file
but at least
you don't have to manually maintain it...
Just a though...

Subject: [freetds] Genereic db connection
Hi guys.
I'm working now on project where there is connection
not fixed, but generic by db. It means that for each
part of the project there is database and all this
connection information are stored in other database.
All run on MSSQL7. Any idea how to obey fixed
connection written in interfaces file, and connect to
other database without entering it into interfaces
file?
Thnx
Stefan
