Title: [jdbc] Catalogs in SQL Server 6.5/7.0/2000
Does MS SQL Server support catalogs? I've checked the online books for SQL Server 6.5 and it doesn't look like it does, unless it's called something else in SQL Server terminology.
At any rate, if SQL Server doesn't support catalogs, can we change Connection_base.getCatalog() to return null instead of throwing a SQLException? I'm trying to get FreeTDS to work with Forte For Java CE (nee NetBeans).
What is a catalog anyway?
