Alright, I am pretty busy myself but I will see if I can't get a little more
familliar with the freetds code and maybe help you out a bit. I would love to
see another free odbc driver for unix. If you can tell me where your at and
who is working on what that would be great.

Not all of the ODBC functions are stubs. There was a (sort of) basic function
driver already. However, it didn't have the SQLGetFunctions() code, and at
least SQLBindCol()/SQLFetch() is broken. Or, it's broken inside of the tds
library. However, if the tds library is being used in the other libraries
without any problems, I would suspect the problem is in the odbc driver.
I've been testing it with the simplest of tables, and it's breaking on that,
currently.
The table definition I'm using is thus:
create table testtable (
ID int not null,
F1 char(20),
F2 varbinary(40),
F3 numeric(12,5))
I'm sure we could use more people involved with the ODBC driver. I'm sure if
Bob is anything like me, he's probably quite busy, and time is precious. So,
the more we have (to a point), the merrier.
