Hi All,

I've a program written in php which runs fine on FreeBSD/FreeTDS etc. - This
connects to a backend MS SQL Server V7.

I've just moved the program to another FreeBSD Box (identical config) - except
this box is local to the SQL server (the other one was via a 2Mbit link).

The program runs considerably faster now, but roughly about every other
execuction I get:

"
Connecting to SQL Server [my debug message]
Invalid packet header 0
Invalid packet header 110
Invalid packet header 116
Invalid packet header 101
Invalid packet header 42
Invalid packet header 119
Invalid packet header 101
Invalid packet header 105
Invalid packet header 42
Invalid packet header 119
Invalid packet header 101
<--- [15 million 'Invalid packet header' lines later :)]
Invalid packet header 16
Invalid packet header 99
Invalid packet header 107
Invalid packet header 110
Invalid packet header 97
Invalid packet header 99
Invalid packet header 117
Invalid packet header 107
Invalid packet header 101
Invalid packet header 110
Invalid packet header 8
Invalid packet header 110
Invalid packet header 114
Invalid packet header 101
Unknown marker: 97!!
"

The program then dies horribly...

Has anyone seen anything like this? - If I leave it a couple of seconds, and
run it again - it runs fine? (until the next time it decides to barf!)

-Karl
