I'm using MS SQLServer 6.5. will be moving to 7.0 next year some time.
My interest in TDS is a platform independent driver to SQLServer.

I'm in the MS-SQL camp. I would like to get Apache/FreeBSD/PHP&Perl
to
talk
to a NT/MS-SQL setup. Awhile ago I was looking for this capability
and I
came across News archives from over a year ago with people trying to
do
this.

It would be useful to know how many people are using Sybase and how
many
are using MS SQL Server. We are currently using System 11/ASE 11.5
at
work, so most of freetds has been based on getting that running.
I have a fairly large collection of dblib programs that I like to
run on
linux, sybperl scripts and different homegrown admin utilities,
etc...
What
are you guys looking for?
Brian
