Dearest electronic music fans,
Just a quick reminder about the show tonight at Go! Algorithm (aka
Jeff Milligan) will be ripping up the decks along with your local
yokels, Dotist and Riktor. Expect to hear the best new and unreleased
techno bombs around, dropped with the maximum technique in the way of
the funky minimalist. All this plus a new mascot to boot!
PLUS there will be a live interview w/ Mr. Milligan tonight at 6pm on
WXYC 89.3 fm (www.wxyc.org). Dont' forget: music starts at 10pm, so
come early and get your labor day weekend started on the good foot.
See you there!
xoxo

edge of electronic music...
Algorithm
[Revolver, Force Inc, Force Lab, Background, Traum : Montreal]
Algorithm's approach to techno is far from formulaic. Hailing from
Montreal-a North American hotbed of insurrectionist electronics-he's
known for both his sonic experimentation as a producer and his
slamming 3-turntable dj sets. In addition to recording for a fistful
of prominent techno labels, Algorithm administers his own Revolver
imprint which is home to such forward-thinking artists as Akufen,
Deadbeat, Tomas Jirku and others. Check out his ethereal, summertime-
enhancing mix cd on Force Lab for a taste of his studio work, but
we'll be in for more of a dancefloor ruckus.
