Artist info...

MOKIRA:
Mokira is the pseudonymic side-project of Andreas Tilliander, a transplant
of Stockholm, Sweden now residing in London. Andreas's sound has been
described as utilizing "the clicks, pops and crackles of insensibilities"
in fusion with "the drive of hip-hop, r&b, and dub." He has released music
on labels such as Raster-Noton, Klangalerie, Fat Cat, and Mille Plateaux,
among others.

themoonstealingproject:
themoonstealingproject's organic fronts morph and collide with digital
textures as they linger in the air like a thick mist of emotive
detritus. Processed guitar loops percolate and recoil into the coarsely
rendered sands on the shores of perfect summertime. Baltimore native Jason
Urick is responsible for these audio experiments; seek his mp3's at
notype.com and check oncetwicesound.com for information on next year's
once.twice:festival, Baltimore's annual experimental electronic music
event.

Matthew Jackson:
Matthew is a musician from Virginia responsible for founding Conception
Recordings. Having spent a year living in Sweden, his musical production
has been greatly influenced by the shifting melodies and fluttering
percussion typical to labels like Hobby Industries and Dot Records. Before
moving to Sweden, Matthew hosted a show on WXDU highlighting new
developments in experimental electronic music. Audio samples are online at
conceptionrecordings.com/tunes.

Telia:
Shifting fields of ambient textures both aurally and visually in real
time, the duo of Chris Mackie(laptop) and Christina Vantzos(live
video) aim to create site-specific multi-sensoral environments. Chords
float and crumble, melodies hang mid-air and images dissolve and fade. As
1/4 of Baltimore chamber rockers Sonna, Mackie avoids the cliches of most
rock-musician turned electronic noodlers, showing a superb attention to
detail. Since graduating from the Maryland Institute College of Art,
Vantzos has been honing her skills in real-time video manipulation.
Showing an equally impressive attention to detail as Mackie, Vantzos'
images are a perfect marriage to Mackie's sounds.

Pneuma:
Pneuma is the handle of Ben Parris, a Baltimore resident who avoids his
working responsibilities as a PhD student at the Johns Hopkins University
by co-organizing the once.twice:festival of sound and dj'ing in various
cities along the East Coast. His sets are known for ranging across a slew
of styles and subgenres within micro/experimental electronic music and
sound.
