This is a new list and an experiment. Those who are reading this want to
promote and protect the science of compost tea making.
Personally, I am a rank amateur. I have been killing the soil foodweb in
annual and perennial beds as well as the lawn with a favorite blue
fertilizer for as long as I can remember and have the perfect lab for
starting over---fantastic soils. I have been brewing teas for months in my
greenhouse. My indoor plants duck when they see me coming with the next
batch and are so darn happy that I applied my last batch to an outdoor
perennial bed.
So, other than having some interesting experiments with teas and indoor
plants, I make fantastic bacterial teas in homemade bubblers with added
stirring contraptions. I am just now trying to get equally fantastic fungal
teas and then I will be a happy camper. I am a bit heavy on the molasses
when I brew! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Jeff in Alaska
