Hi, Bob: Downloaded your mma project (
http://mypage.uniserve.ca/~bvdp/music.html ) onto a low-end desktop
running Fedora Core 1, the CCRMA kernel, two cheap speakers, and a cheap
microphone. It's a community-based recording studio, and puts out
high-quality CDs, as you can well guess. Borrow a digital video camera,
and it puts out high-quality DVDs, as you can well guess. So, with that
in mind, let me tell you what happened.
. . . . Nothing! Rats! The stupid computer is running Python 2.2.3 -
not 2.3! Drats!
In the meantime, maybe we can invite you and the Creston Community Band
to consider joining SONG STORM. All our services are free. We offer
exposure for Independent Artists, and help drive listeners to the
Artists' sites. We'll give you a Listing at:
http://www.ibiblio.org/studioforrecording/mt/Artist/
and if you have one or more songs you post on the Internet for folks to
enjoy and share, we'll put a Playlist Listing at:
http://www.ibiblio.org/studioforrecording/mt/Playlist/
Happy Holidays,
