Tonight - Earth Fare’s Opening Reception to Benefit the Chapel Hill Public Arts Commission

Earth Fare, Chapel Hill’s newest store for natural and organic products, is celebrating its grand opening tonight, Tuesday, June 14, 6:00 - 8:00 pm.  The Chapel Hill Public Arts Commission is Earth Fare’s non-profit partner for the months of June and July.  10% of the evening’s sales will benefit the Chapel Hill Public Arts CommissionEarth Fare is located at Eastgate Shopping Center, 1800 East Franklin Street in Chapel Hill (in the old Southern Seasons building).  Directions: >From I-40 get off at US-15/501 exit 270 toward Chapel Hill. Turn right onto US-15/501 South (Durham Chapel Hill Blvd.). Turn right on Ephesus Church Road into the Eastgate Shopping Center. Earth Fare is the first building on your right.

 

Friday June 17 - Art Exhibition Opening at Chapel Hill Town Hall

Don’t miss the opening reception with live music and refreshments for the Chapel Hill Town Employee Art Exhibition on Friday, June 17 from 5-6:30 pm at Chapel Hill Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.  The exhibition features paintings, drawings, photographs, ceramics, textile art, and more by Town employees and their families.  Town departments represented in the exhibition include: Public Works, Transit, Manager’s Office, Library, Engineering, Planning, and Housing.  The show will be on view weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through August 12, 2005

 

Sunday, June 19 – Art Exhibition Opening at Chapel Hill Public Library

Join us for an opening reception at the Chapel Hill Public Library, 100 Library Drive, on Sunday, June 19 from 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. for an exhibition featuring paintings by Rani Imandi and photographs Julia Lebetkin.  The exhibition will be on view at the Chapel Hill Public Library from June 19 through August 15 during the library’s regular business hours: Mondays through Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
