Good morning affiliates and friends: two pieces of news we thought we should share on this list. (1) the registration for the CC Summit in Seoul is now open: https://donate.creativecommons.org/civicrm/event/info?reset=1&id=11 As with previous Summits we'll be providing scholarships for affiliates and other important attendees, with the number of scholarships available contingent on funding. But we're hoping to have at least as many as last time. You can register your interest in a scholarship here: https://donate.creativecommons.org/civicrm/profile/create?gid=39&reset=1 (2) for those involved in MOOCs: edX has implemented CC licenses within their platform: http://creativecommons.org/weblog/entry/45593 & http://edx.readthedocs.org/projects/edx-partner-course-staff/en/latest/building_course/licensing_course.html . CC will now reach out to other major MOOC platforms (Coursera, FutureLearn and others) to ask them to follow edX's example by adding CC license options to their MOOC platforms. Best, Tobias ---
