And to clarify: I didn't mean a collective proposition for this round
Meant, as our projects flourish, to have a collective space to riff off each other's successes and stories.

Thankfully we have the Internet to help us span this massive continent too. Without the heavy physical logistics.
Smaller projects are more readily activated. These selfsame heavy logistics do make it tough to connect with each other in the realworld. But, that may just be our advantage...

Perhaps as we go along, we might consider co-creating a pan-African mashup (using Google tools perhaps) that draws on the open creative vibrancy of say the filmmaking of Nigeria, music of Ghana, hardware hacking in Kenya for example, into a shared online channel for telling the stories of our individual projects/events? Because heaven knows, it's better and more interesting together. There are thoroughly inspiring open projects that could capture public imagination, that each of us has access to already. It would be outstanding to see these in realtime on a shared roadtrip, but maybe if we can capture and share them online, we might have even greater reach and deeper time travel?

Thanks, and best wishes from the very deep south,
Max

Folks I think you should get down to the business of writing those 'small' proposals. Not much time left. The deadline is only 4 days away!

Good luck.
