Thank you so much for the follow-up links and posts Jessica!
From one who was devastated not to have been amongst the brilliant throng in Uganda, it's seriously handy to be able to have a good account of the vision and mission for our forthcoming year. Tobias, went through his pics with me yesterday - the sidebar village venture snaps are wonderful.

May there be many more opportunities, in the realworld and online to gather our forces for good, and open up the treasures of the continent.
Appreciatively,

Hi all

Hasn't time flown since the Cc Africa Convening - over a week ago now!

I wanted to write to thank those who attended the meeting for all their work and input - it was an extremely successful event, and I see many good things coming from it.

I also wanted to acknowledge all those who wanted, but were unable to attend - and to let you know that there are a number of places they can find information and materials from the meeting.

A blog post summarising the meeting is up on the Creative Commons website: http://creativecommons.org/weblog/entry/33267.

Materials from the meeting, including slideshows and notes, are also now available at the conference wiki: http://wiki.creativecommons.org/Africa/CC_Africa_Regional_Meeting_2012. A meeting report will also be made available on the wiki in the next week or so.

If you presented at the meeting and are yet to provide us with your slides/notes, we'd love to receive them for publication. We'd also love to hear from anyone with photographs or other materials from the meeting.

And, as always, we would love to hear from anyone new to Creative Commons who is interested in learning how they can become more involved!
