Hej,

Rights in the Digital Age" (www.digital-rights.net).

Hi,

Mikael Pawlo has been the driving force of Creative Commons Sweden and
he has recommended that I take over the project lead. So I have now
joined the list and its time to introduce myself.

I have studied law at the universities of Göteborg, Oslo and Strathclyde
and specialised in IT law. I moved on to the Deptarment of Informatics
(Göteborg University) were I teach courses in computer ethics, ecommerce
and theory/philosophy/political economy of free sofware/open source -
besides working as Dean of Studies for the department. When not doing
any of that I am trying to write a Phd on the effects of technology on
free speech in Sweden. This work is going slowly since I keep doing
picking up other projects I find interesting (I recently completed
editing a book on Human Rights in the Digital Age
(www.digital-rights.net) and I am also a Visiting Fellow at the London
School of Economics and Political Science.

I have been very interesting in the concept of creative commons since
its launch and I am very honoured to be working for the Swedish version.
I am looking forward to working with you all.

Mathias
