Hi Paul,

We hear Danny Walters and others from the Ministry of Education talking about wanting to ensure that all MOE publications and funded projects carry a CC license. They were even looking into the possibilities of applying it retroactively.

Its on audio here on track two morning discussions.

Have people seen this announcement  from the Obama Transition team that  all
their content is now badged as  Creative Commons 3.0

Would be interesting to see/ hear some debate from NZ agencies on this.
I'm also curios as to the status of Internet NZ publications - are they
released under Creative Commons?

The History of NZ, Connecting the Clouds, is an interesting example - there
is a wiki giving the whole content -  seems a perfect candidate for Creative
Commons 3.0
