To cut my previous message short: Do you want cc by-sa to be the
definite copyleft license for free culture? Or do you want to force
people to use GPL for art when they create it for a free game, just to
be safe and to avoid restrictions on their project organization?

Do you want one copyleft free culture community where everyone can
share with everyone?

Or do you want two seperate communities whose members cannot share
with members of the other community for purely legal reasons - even
though their goals are the same?

Best wishes,
Arne

PS: GPL cannot drop the source requirement, because that is vital for
code due to the way programming works. But cc by-sa can allow using cc
by-sa works in GPL projects by accepting that inclusion. It does not
even need to allow relicensing. It’s enough to adapt the sharealike to
allow sharing under the GPL, too.
