The OpenReader Consortium is currently developing the OpenReader
Publication format, an "open standards" digital publication standard
(such as for ebooks.)
We are interested in using a Creative Commons license for the
specifications we publish.
Two questions:
1) Are there any organizations now publishing standards documents using
CC licensing?
2) Which CC license is recommended?
For an idea of the suite of specifications we are now developing,
refer to the following draft specification:
http://www.openreader.org/orp-development/spec/bcd10-draft2006-01-19.html
(The current copyright statement is a "traditional" one we temporarily
took from another specification.)
Thanks!
