I'm kind of on the fence about it.
you almost need it for all the different format
conversions you have to go through sometimes
just to view or listen to an image/sound file.
It seems to come down to if you use a
text or a picture or a movie to make a
political statement, you don't want
someone going and rephrasing your
statement for the opposing side.
I suppose you should probably use someting
more like "all rights reserved" maybe a
"you may distribute verbatim copies"
type license and take it as that.
Yeah, OK, I say punt the NoDerivatives clause.
