Hi,
What do you wish to license under creative commons? Creative commons is an alternative to ordinary, restrictive copyright. By using a CC license you can retain copyright and at the same time offer redistribution/replication rights to the public. You have the choice to impose a condition like attribution.
I figure you are considering using a CC license for your web content. I advise you to have an overview of the different licenses at http://creativecommons.org/about/licenses/meet-the-licenses
Best,
Shikhar
P.S. The India-specific license is still a draft, but I don't think you should have a problem in employing the non India-specific license.
