Bonjour,

http://creativecommons.org/projects/casestudies

TRADUCTION (APPROXIMATIVE) DU MAIL DE Jessica Coates:
Commons Case Studies" (http://creativecommons.org.au/asiaandthecommons)

Greetings all

We here at Creative Commons Australia have been working with staff from the main CC office to develop a wiki of CC case studies. This wiki aims to highlight the fantastic work being done by the creators and content aggregators in the CC community. We've got the ball rolling by entering some of the case studies from our "Asia and the Commons Case Studies" publication (http://creativecommons.org.au/asiaandthecommons), along with a number of others we've been working on.

Now it's your turn to join in by adding some of the innovative and noteworthy CC projects happening in your jurisdiction.
With your help, the case studies wiki can be an invaluable informational resource for all! At the moment it's pretty Australian heavy - the more international contributions we get, the more representative it will be of the global CC picture.

Once we can hit a critical mass of case studies (and we've made it all pretty), we'll do a larger promotional push, including a press release. There are a number of international events coming up at which we'll be able to showcase it - the CCau conference on 24 June (http://creativecommons.org.au/australasiancommons); the Communia/CC Europe meetings June 30-July 1 in Belgium http://communia-project.eu/conf2008; FSCONS on October 25-26 in Gothenburg, Sweden http://fscons.org/; and, of course, the iSummit (http://icommonssummit.org/). So we're encouraging each jurisdiction to contribute five case study examples by 15 June, 2008.

Contributors can use an easy form to enter data into the wiki (explained on the case studies front page). There are also examples already entered for your reference.

For more information, feel free to contact [michelle AT creativecommons.org]

This is your chance to have your local projects highlighted to the international community - so get writing!

Ok, cool...Jessica and Rachel, feel free to ping/re-ping me to get
things sorted on this today in our timezone (which is thursday) for
launching this out to CCi list.

All set?
