Hi CC Europeans,

from the direction of Wikimedia chapters in Europe comes the suggestion that several European CC Affiliates take part in a funding proposal for the planned AHA! Project, which is the acronym for "Activating Hacktivists in Advocacy". It is about strengthening Europe-wide networks of civil society groups and their collaboration in the policy arena.

This project is meant to be funded with 150K over 18 months from the EU's program for democratic engagement and civic participation

Wikimedia Germany hired a competent fundraiser to prepare the proposal and we as Europe RCs were asked to propose CC Affiliates that might fit in. Below you'll find some details on what the project might aim at. Please let Gwen or me know a.s.a.p. whether you/your institution would be interested in joining this. The deadline is only a month ahead

Best
John & Gwen
