Hi everybody.

I haven’t had the time to say thank you for a nice meeting in Helsinki some weeks ago.

I really enjoyed seeing all of you.

I am writing to you because I want to map all the local resources that we all have in our countries.

By mapping these resources we will be able to see best-practice / interesting projects etc. from each other.

Although many resources are in our native language, they still represent an important example for us all – that content is coming and that our cultural heritages are opening up.

Therefore I will ask if you send me some links to what you consider to be important collections or initiatives in your homeland, and I will try to visualize the resources in a mind map.

I think you should focus on both large and small projects – it is about attitude not size in this matter.

For the years coming the digital knowledge of today and the last 50 years will be the content that will be hardest to open up, and therefore even small examples can be usefull to have.

I prefer to use a program called MindMeister for mind mapping and collaboration, and for this specific task I think it probably is the best tool.

The mind map itself can later on be exported in all formats, (text, PDF, powerpoint, freemind etc.) so You can have the data just the way you want it afterwards.

So if any / some / all of You would send me some links I will try to organize our common knowledge into a Creative common J

You can send your link by either email (just reply on this mail) or at Twitter: @peterleth1 or at Skype: peter.leth1

The mind map that I am working in, can be found at this url: http://www.mindmeister.com/210333169/creative-commons-international-ressources

Thank you once again for the pleasant meeting, and I hope to change the world with You.

Best,

Peter Leth
