Hi J-C
What do you all think of taking explicitly part in such
kind of advocacy activities as "CC X"?
we do real advocacy "behind the scenes" only, i.e. when talking to relevant people in persona and such.
The main public effect that CC Germany has (regarding advocacy for certain policies or law reforms) is a rather indirect one, coming from the fact that our public project lead Markus runs the single most important hub for net activism in Germany, netzpolitik.org. He's well-known for also being with CC, so CC is a kind of submessage in everything netzpolitik.org is pushing, while at the same time, the impact of netzpolitik is in a way backing everything CC Germany says.
Still, the hats are strictly kept apart for that matter.
Best regards from Berlin
John
