Thanks for all the feedback. I don't think F-Spot currently supports
CC licenses (based on
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=349360) but once/if it does,
I imagine that exporting to Gallery with CC metadata intact wouldn't
be too difficult.

With that endorsement what is there to say? :)

I'm not 100% certain it is a big enough project for the summer, but a
thorough proposal would change my mind; please submit one!

Presumably (1) means there's nothing to do.
