Andrea, actually, this is something I wish were better taught and for which there would be a good bibliography. The closest thing I've seen is an article by Hal Varian (same guy who wrote "Information Rules" with Carl Shapiro). The article is
"How to write an economic model in your spare time."

Could you suggest a basic bibliography for someone who wants to start
studying economical modeling?
Feel free to post your answer on the list, I didn't post my question
there because I was not sure how interesting it could be.
