In first Chronicles 17:11, we have:
וַהֲכִינֹותִי
Which is hifil, and in 17:12, we have
וְכֹנַנְתִּי
Which is poel.
Is there any difference in meaning between the two stems at this point, or are they functionally the same? LXX translates the former as ἀναστήσω (set up), the latter as ἀνορθώσω (rebuild, restore). KJV distinguishes with "establish" and "stablish" (apparently the difference between "keeping stable" and "founding as stable"). ESV, et al., renders both simply with "establish."
