The only place in the traditional Jewish liturgy that I can think of offhand
where the word "khorin" appears is in the Passover Haggadah;
khet-vav-resh-yid-nun is Aramaic for "free [people]." (Not that much of the
Siddur is in Aramaic.)

The quote for Birkot HaShachar appears only in the Conservative liturgy, as
a substitute for the original "shelo asani aved" - that He did not make me a
slave.

Richard:

Do you know the context of where it is found? What are its Hebrew letters?
(Please put them in unicode.) If it is in the Siddur, is it even Hebrew, as
much of the Siddur is Aramaic? What is the context in which it is found? We
are somewhat at a loss.

Yours, Karl W. Randolph.
