The internal pronouns היא and הוא as represented by the vowels I U O E, are universal. Gender and number are added later. For instance:
שבור = שב-הוא-ר he (it) is broken
שבורה = שב-הוא-ר-היא she is broken
שבורים = שב-הוא-ר-הם they are broken
The internal הוא refers to the thing being at the state described by the root שבר

It appears to me that the word contains two personal pronouns, one internal, O ( הוא ), for the performer (here ABRAHAM) of the act אהב , and one external, IY (אני ), for the beneficiary of the act, here the God of Israel.

Dear Isaac,
as regards the internal pronoun, O = HW), would you say that where the plural is dealt with it would also be HW) = he?
Samples: Ezr 7:28 (6th. word); 2Ch 22:4 (11th word)...
I think that here it would rather mean "they"... would it not?
If so, then would the pronoun O = HW) mean both "he" and "they"?
Hearty,

Hi.
The last word in Is 41:8, )HBY, what does it really mean?:
1. the person I love
2. or rather the person who loves me ("my lover")
Of course these are different things.
Can this pattern have either meaning depending on the context?
In other words: is the final Y the subject of )HB or rather its object?
