Eva,

Hebrew has already (ABIM, 'clouds' in addition to )ABOT, 'forefathers'. Both come from the single-consonant root AB = BA, 'essential, big, high, tall', also appearing in the doubled form BB. The extended root )BH [as well as )WH], 'desire', essentially refers to something that grows, rises or materializes in the heart --- an emotion. A young Hebrew speaker today would say: BA LI FALAFEL, I desire now a falafel. Related to AB are AW, WW, AP and PP. Touch your nose with your finger and you will understand why the Hebrews call it AP.

Why can't fathers be parents or male and female? In Gen. it tells us that male and female were created in the Image of Elohim.
So why is Elohim not understood as male and female?
