Re: Hebraic Tongue Restored by Fabre d'Olivet

I seem to remember some discussion of this book a while back. According to
my recollection (unless I'm thinking of some other book) the sense was that
it wasn't well supported as scholarship. Can someone direct me to those
posts? Is it possible to search the archives, and if so, would someone tell
me how to do that? Thanks! Dana Densmore

Eva:
"From" is not in the Hebrew text.

The vow of the Nazarite was something under the Mosaic Law. What was written
about in Genesis predated the Mosaic Law, so what is written concerning
Joseph predates the vow.

I have not made a theological study about what constitutes a Nazarite, so I
am unable to answer some of your questions. All I can say is that the word
apparently means consecrated.
