I think that the word "sign" used in Isaiah 7 is not always used for miracles, although predicting the future correctly would be a miracle, even if the sign is not. For example, knowing that something would happen before a child reaches a certain age is a miracle.

There are other quotes that use the same word as Isaiah 7:14 for non-miraculous signs.You can look at 2 Kings 19:29 about crops growing, Isaiah 8:3 about a normal childbirth, Jeremiah 44:29-30 about the king of Egypt being given into the hands of his enemies as a sign, Ezekiel 4:1-3, 1 Samuel 2:34 about Eli's 2 sons dying the same day, and 1 Samuel 14:10.
