You are taking it too literally. In Proverbs, this is what the woman
says, that does not mean she's telling the truth. What I refer to is
that she brings the guy home for the night, not just a quicky as did
Judah with Tamar.

So my question concerning Rahab, was her place set up for overnight
guests? Apparently so. At least that's how I read it.

Proverbs 7:18 is not talking about an inn. The
woman has her house to
herself because her husband is out of town:

Prov. 7:19 My husband is not at home; he has gone
on a long journey.
Prov. 7:20 He took his purse filled with money and
will not be home till
full moon."
