Hi Karl!

My search shows that the plural segholate form with 3mp suffix does not
preserve the segholatisation, but rather reverts to the original vowel:
DiGLeYHeM. This is as expected with any segholate.

If the segholate were *singular* with a 3mp suffix, then the form would be
DiGLaM (again with appropriate reversion). But this particular semantic
combination for this word never occurs in the Hebrew Bible.

You missed it. DeGLaM is not once found in Tanakh, DeGeLeYHeM is found
three times, according to a quick electronic search of the text.
